General Farm Description: Our farm is a family owned and operated Organic goat dairy and vegetable operation. We have been in business for 26 years and produce award-winning goat cheese, which is distributed regionally. Our Organic vegetables are for local markets and restaurants. We have a 20 acre farm in the heart of the Gallatin valley at the base of the Bridger mountains.CRAFT Member Farm? No

Internship Details:
We are looking for a full time applicant, to milk daily.
This job is very physical, you must be able to lift 50 pounds easily and comfortably.
Daily duties:
Feeding goats, checking waters for all animals and filling when necessary, fence/barn maintenance, animal health care and maintenance care and goat milking.
Animal experience and skid steer or machinery operation a plus!
Pay starts at $18/hr based on experience
Must be patient with animals and equipment, have the ability to work well unsupervised, pay attention to detail, must have reliable transportation, and be present at work while working and focused on the care of the animals and farm property.

Educational Opportunities: Opportunity to learn about animal care, basic and veterinary, and dairy operations. Cheesemaking process can be learned as well.
